Administrative
Our Administrative Department is led by our president. The department is responsible for leading the club's initiatives, overseeing events, establishing a vision for BRASA and coordinating with directors to make sure that vision is achieved.
Finances
The Finances Department is led by both the Directors of Internal and External Finances. They are responsible for creating and maintaining the club's budget, tracking income and expenses, handling financial transactions, providing financial reports and analysis to the club's leadership team, and making recommendations for financial decisions. The department also plays a crucial role in ensuring the club maximizes UCLA funding opportunities and coordinates fundraising initiatives for the organization's activities and events.
Social Events
Our Social Events Department is led by our Director of Social Events and has its own committee. The department is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing social activities and events.
Marketing
The Department of Marketing is led by the Director of Marketing. It has its own committee. It is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and strategies to promote club events and initiatives, creating engaging content for social media platforms, managing the club's online presence, coordinating promotional campaigns, collaborating with other club members to enhance the club's visibility, and attracting new members by effectively communicating the club's mission and activities.
Outreach
The Department of Outreach is led by the Director of Outreach. It is responsible for establishing good alumni and post-grads relations and possible networking opportunities. Also responsible for reaching out to newly admitted Brazilian UCLA students to teach them about BRASA and guide them through their journey, and expanding BRASA’s presence and engagement within campus community and externally.
Professional Affairs
The Department of Professional Affairs is led by the Directors of Professional Development and Professional Relations. It also has its own committee. It is responsible for managing and coordinating key initiatives. They will also maintain a research/internships database, and establish partnerships with business clubs, manage the Intra-BRASA Mentorship Program, organize professional development workshops, and provide resume and interview assistance. This department is crucial for enhancing academic and professional opportunities for Brazilian students at UCLA.
