Valentina Alencar Barros
President
Valentina is a Senior at UCLA, pursuing a dual degree in Economics and Global Studies. She serves as the President of BRASA UCLA. In addition to her involvement with BRASA, Valentina is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, where she took on the role of Academic Excellence Assistant in here Freshman year, and is currently in the UCLA Fed Challenge Team. Valentina has also been involved with Hunger Project at UCLA.
Adrianna Druck
Director of Outreach
Adrianna is a Psychology major from Florianopolis, Brazil, graduating in 2027. She serves as the Director of Outreach of BRASA UCLA. Besides BRASA, she is part of Club Gymnastics.
Enzo Zancanelli
Director of Professional Relations
I am Enzo! I’m a sophomore studying Economics at UCLA, though I’m still a bit on the fence about my major—indecision is my specialty! I like to think of myself as a generalist, with a wide range of interests: I started out as a Political Science major, but now I'm thinking about switching to Engineering. In college, I’m actively involved with BRASA at UCLA, BRASA Global, and Clean Consulting, which have all been amazing experiences so far. When I'm not buried in schoolwork or club activities, you’ll find me going out, trying out new restaurants, running (when motivation strikes), or binge-watching TV shows like it's my job. Please, feel free to reach out anytime - if there’s one thing I enjoy more than all the above, it’s a good chat.
Kaio Wilson
Director of Professional Development
Kaio is a Psychobiology major at UCLA with family from Goiânia, Brazil. He serves as the Director of Professional Development for BRASA at UCLA. In addition to his dedication to BRASA, Kaio is also involved with UCLA Health, where he's taken the role of a Care Extender. Finally, Kaio has worked as a research intern at ThinkNeuro, furthering his passion for healthcare.
Lais Ferreira
Director of Social Events
Lais is a Psychology major in her final year at UCLA. Aside from her involvement at BRASA, Lais is also a Behavioral Technician at Behavior Frontiers.
Lais brings to life the social aspect of BRASA through formal and informal events.
Rome Stark
Director of Finances
Rome is a Business Economics major, coming from São Paulo, Brazil. Rome serves as the director of finances and fundraising efforts for BRASA. In addition to his involvement with BRASA, Rome holds the position of Chief Financial Officer for Olami at UCLA.
Valentina Trotta
Director of Internal Finances
Valentina is an Economics and Cognitive Science double major from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is this year’s Director of Internal Finance at BRASA UCLA.
Tomy Yamagata
Director of Marketing
Tomy is a Business Economics major from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He serves as the Director of Marketing for BRASA at UCLA.
Adriana Scaff
Social Events Committee
Adriana is in her 4th year at UCLA (Class of 2025), majoring in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology (MCDB). In addition to her coursework, she is involved in neurodevelopment research projects, hospital volunteer work, and sports. After graduating from UCLA, her goal is to attend medical school and become a psychiatrist.

Carmen Carolina Pfeil
Professional Development Committee
Carmen is in her 2nd year at UCLA (Class of 2027), majoring in Neuroscience. In addition to her coursework, she is currently enrolled in the UCLA EMT program and is pursuing medical school after college! She is obsessed with Neurosurgery and Space Medicine and hopes to combine her
love for the two.
